Packing for a Road Trip - According to Men : Styled By Farline

So my hubby is going on a road trip to NYC this weekend where he will be attending a family event. He is leaving early this afternoon and coming back late Sunday night. Well Monsieur only planned on packing this MORNING!!!! Crazy right?

Unlike girls, guys never seemed to panic when it comes to packing. So to help me better comprehend this “no-stress” zone, we went through is fictional list (since he did not actually put one together) of what he though he would need. I could not believe it, he had everything covered and quite frankly I do understand now why guys are NOT freaking out.

Get ready; I have put together a list of what men needs when going on a 2/3 days summer road trip, according to my significant other. Thanks Babes!

In His Bag:

Toiletry bag with the essential for 3 days: body soap, body lotion (yeah my man takes good care of his skin), tooth paste, tooth brush and q-tips. No need for razors and saving cream if you groomed before. However if you think you might need them, just through them in the mix.

Undies, socks and pjs... So apparently, 3 pairs of good boxers/briefs, 3 pairs of sucks and 1 set pajama will do the trick.

This trip is all about relaxing and enjoying himself. He needs to be ready for a "chill" night out in town or for a casual BBQ gathering. Please understand that he is NOT planning on being front row at a fashion show! So what is required are a few t-shirts / polos, 2 pairs of bermudas, 1 pair of jeans (note that one these bottom items could already be worn while traveling) and a good pair of casual shoes (obviously on).

If not staying at the hotel, a towel must not be forgotten. He may be staying at a friend’s house or a family member, but one must never assume that one will be offered. Better safe than sorry.

Last but not least: the dressy look. Whether it is a full on suit or just a dressy pair or pants and shirt, it is the most important look of the trip and it must be packed properly. Usually a simple cover suit bag will do the job. Oh and don’t forget the shoes.
