Last night, was the first night of the much-anticipated FashionPreview. As usual, guests were invited to enjoy cocktails while discovering
a hand full of popshops before the show. For this edition, Fashion Preview
traded the Centre Phi for a much bigger venue, La Maison Ogilvy. Wow!
The fifth floor of La Maison Ogilvy is by far, one the best places in Montreal
to hold a fashion show. The high ceilings, the décor, the subtle access to the makeup
and hair “prepping room” and of course the dark and intriguing closed room
where the shows actually took place, were add-ons to main reason we were all
present: the local designers.
The Modern samurai is how I would describe this collection. Ample
silhouettes assorted with just a few accessories will fit men and woman.
Trendy yet minimalist, the collection is to die for! A ray of effortless looks for the androgynous girl who knows that black is the new
black.
Provocative fashion one might say. From the layering, to the
gorgeous open back dress, to the “un-blurred lines” on the final piece, this
collection did not go unnoticed last night!
I’m in awes! I simply loved the collection. The beautifully
structured dress, the timeless jackets, the mix of fabrics, Elisa C-Rossow knows how to dress a woman. To top it all, the talented designer allowed us to
try some pieces of the collection. Pictures
were then taken by Gaelle Leroyer to immortalize the moment. I obviously
could not resist.

My Look that night
Tonight, is the second and final night of Fashion Preview and my favorite of the 2nd edition, Leinad Beaudet, will be
closing the runway. I can wait to see his collection.
Xoxo
