First of the series, this post is all about making a trend,
your own. With the amount of styles thrown at us from celebrities, designers,
reality stars and bloggers all around the world, it is only normal that once in
a while we find ourselves desiring to look like them, to sport the clothes they
wear.
As a personal stylist and image consultant, I would never
recommend to exactly mimic what is seen in a magazine, on the red carpet, the
catwalk or on those incessant "street style" posts. I think that is
great to get inspired by what we see, but more so, to make a look/trend our
own.

Benjamin of the #KardashianJenner clan can now be called a
trendsetter. Whether or not you like her unnaturally plumped lips, or her ever
changing hair color, she often find herself on the fashion "Dos"
list.
Today I opted for her all black overall look. Thanks to
Arden, finding the right length for me was a piece of cake. Because I am one
who likes a spark of color, red pumps were a perfect way to make this look my
own. The statement necklace and big loops made my outfit stand out even more. A
black and white stripe crop top would have also been a fun way to embrace this
celebrity look.
On me:
Black crewneck transformed into crop top: H&M
Black overall: Ardene
Red pumps: Aldo
Accessories: Aldo
